Avalon Action Alliance: Making a Difference
Avalon Action Alliance is dedicated to connecting veterans and first responders to life-changing care for Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI), Post-traumatic Stress (PTS), and Substance Abuse (SA). They understand that navigating the healthcare system can be complex and stressful, so they eliminate worries about complexity, costs, or geographical access to care.
Their focus on the invisible wounds caused by TBI, PTS, and SA extends beyond veterans and first responders. These conditions are a global health crisis and are often referred to as the three pillars of suicide. Healing happens together, and Avalon is leading the way.
Here’s a snapshot of Avalon’s impact:
- 7 TBI centers
- 11 Post-traumatic stress programs
- 2 Substance abuse treatment centers
- 3,000 post-traumatic growth participants
- 3,000 substance abuse treatment participants
- 648 intensive outpatient programs delivered by Avalon Alliance TBI centers
- 473 post-traumatic growth programs delivered
- 71 warriors funded by Avalon for substance abuse treatment
